Call for Papers Journal SOCIOLOGIA ON LINE | Continuously Open

SOCIOLOGIA ON LINE is a scientific journal of the Portuguese Sociological Association. It has an open access policy, whith exclusively online edition and publishes original articles (wheter as a result of research in the context of basic/pure research or in the context of applied research, research-action) on Sociology.

Scientific papers can be written in English, Portuguese, Spanish or French and will be independently evaluated by at least two experts. In addition, SOCIOLOGIA ON LINE uses double-blind peer review, which means that the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

Starting in 2025, SOCIOLOGIA ON LINE will adopt a continuous publication model, replacing the previous system of three issues per year. Continuous publication is an editorial model in which articles are made available online as soon as they through the review and editing process.

Continuous publication maintains and expands the organization of the journal through dedicated sections, such as book reviews and thematic dossiers, also allowing for the existence of special issues (dedicated to a specific theme).

Is indexed in SciELO Portugal, , DOAJ, Latindex, ERIH PLUS and is qualified in Qualis-Capes (Brazil).
