In 2025, SOCIOLOGIA ON LINE adopted continuous publication, replacing the previous system of three annual editions. In this format, approved articles are published online as soon as they are finalised, speeding up scientific dissemination. This reduces the waiting time for authors and increases the visibility and impact of their work.
The journal will maintain dedicated sections such as book reviews and thematic dossiers, as well as allowing for the publication of special/thematic issues.
